The Chameleon Documentary
Want to be a part of a film that documents one of the musical monolithic Meccas of the United States as well as a treasure of Lancaster City?
The Chameleon Club, our documentary film has been in production for quite a while... and we are gearing up for the final stages of pre-production as we prepare to move into post.
About a year and a half ago, Otaku Motion founded itself with the goal of producing this documentary. Since then we have done a considerable amount of commercial and business video but we haven't forgotten what we started out to do. We've collected interviews from around the nation capturing the people that are the heart, the texture, and the soul of the Chameleon Club's history. Many know about what it looks like and who plays there regularly but how did it get there.. how did it get _here_ in Lancaster City?
This is a very un-polished request but we hope that you take it seriously, I'm looking for people through CHL who are interested in Photography and have access to negative scanners to scan in a portion of the many negatives we have from bands at the Chameleon since 1985. If you'd like to be a part of this, please call us at the number below and I thank you in advance. Those who have helped will most certainly get film credit on national databases as well as the actual credits of the film... and we'll make sure you get a copy when we're finally done :)

Want to help the Dutchland Derby Rollers spread some derby love?
We are soon lining up our 2008 season dates & themes, and we are looking for artists to put their own spin on cover ideas! All mediums are great, ideas are unlimited, and volunteers artists are needed!
We greatly appreciate our volunteers, while we are not able to pay you, we can gladly offer you some very cool Dutchland merchandise, advertising, pins, posters and tickets as our thank you for your time and artwork, along with the gratitude and adoration of an entire derby league!

Looking for local artists to display their art
Ad Lib Cafe, a new Entertainment/Arts Restaurant is opening up on Market St. in downtown Lancaster. We're looking for local artists and photographers who have anything around the "entertainment" theme, such as musicians, music, instruments, actors, theatre, jugglers, etc to display on the walls. You could be as creative as you wanted to be with the theme. The artwork will be rotated periodically to bring in new artists. Your businesses information will be listed next to the piece, so it's a great way to promote yourself and sell if you wanted to.

Sports Videographer needed
A videographer is needed to videotape the Dutchland Rollers 2008 bouts
(8 total). This would be a volunteer position with perks, such as free merch, free print & web advertising, and you are able to market & sell the bout DVD's to the skaters & fans at your chosen price. Not bad for 2 hours or work!

Lancaster Pennsylvania Independent Media Center (LPIMC) is a local grassroots multimedia project that began about a year ago. In the course of the past year we have made diverse connections with community members and groups (grassroots and community journalists). One of our visions is to provide a state-of-the-art community news website that is collaborative, interactive and chalked full of participatory features like open newswires, social-networking and calendaring, video-sharing, photo galleries/slide shows, blogs, forums, resources/wikis and much more. Our basic mission is to provide the basic democratic infrastructure for a sustainable community mediaz network.
