The CHL Creates Community >> The Creative House of Lancaster (CHL) has many objectives including creating a sense of community for artisans in the area. The CHL requires no membership fees or dues; the organization welcomes everyone. Admittance does not call for any special certifications, levels of education, or size of business. People just starting out and people who have enjoyed huge success can all join the CHL to share ideas, communicate, network, and feel connected with others involved in the arts. more>>

The CHL Creates Opportunity >> It’s not enough just to talk about being an artist. We all need to get out there and be artists. With this in mind, the CHL has found ways to promote their members’ productivity and creativity. By working together, sharing information, and using each others’ connections and services, the CHL has done a lot to give their artists opportunities to create. more>>
A Treasure at the Fulton>> During their dinner break on Friday afternoon, I had a chance to talk to Marc Robin and Curt Dale Clark, whose world premiere of "Treasure Island: A Musical Adventure” opens on Thursday, March 6th. Sharing a passion for theater and their lives together for almost 20 years, Robin and Clark's enthusiasm for the book, "Treasure Island” and their excitement about adapting it for the stage and bringing the play to Lancaster was obvious -- and contagious. more>>
