Art in Spire

What do you do with over 4,000 left over plastic cups from the First Friday Dome?

Make art.

That is Jeremy Waak did when the Mayor's Office of Special Events (MOOSE) approached him with boxes of unused plastic cups. Waak, an instructor of metal smith and sculpture at PCAD, constructed a tower of discarded plastic cups where, hours earlier, the Dome stood in the Art Park across from PCAD.

The final structure comprised of 4,440 cups and stood 12 feet tall.
