ARIES: This is going to be a great month for you, Aries. You’ll feel refreshed and renewed, and ready to dive into important new projects. Pulling in your energies, drawing them to you, reviewing your goals, and then putting the “new you” into action is all part of this month’s saga. Creativity is very important, and the ability to express yourself through your art is essential to you. This will be a great time to begin new art projects, as anything you get into right now is going to reflect your personal security. If you’re finishing up an existing project, you’ll end it on a confident, positive note—helping to build your sense of self for your next endeavor.
TAURUS: Get ready to dig in, Taurus. Hard work and elbow grease will be required for you to successfully complete your work right now, and even current projects you may have been enjoying might start to feel like “work.” It’s time to solve some problems either with your working space or even with your own health regime, so be prepared to be working hard on multiple fronts. All that you have had to endure lately is catching up to you, making you finally feel the stress and fatigue that have been building for a while. All of that, plus your daily routine, could make it difficult to be creative—but don’t despair. This, too, as the saying goes, shall pass. The good news? Your hard work this month, even under these less-than-perfect circumstances, will help pave the way to blue skies next month. The time you spend shoring up your health and cleaning up your workspace will be well worth the effort. Hang in there!
GEMINI: Interactions and feedback from others will be particularly important this month, Gemini, so don’t hold back in your communications or in seeking input from others. New projects could involve working with partners, and that might be a good thing, even if that’s not something you typically seek out or enjoy. Mother/child themes can bring a great deal of inspiration, so be open to these themes both literally and figuratively—maternal instincts and behavior don’t just come from your real mother, and we often take on different roles in different relationships—you could be the “child” to someone else’s “mother,” or vice versa. Or maybe a maternal, nurturing theme will surface in your work or as a solution to a design problem. Another thing that will inspire you this month is the opportunity to help someone else with their project—working with them to make it look better. Faces can also bring a special inspiration, so keep you eyes on the faces you see on the street and in your personal circle of friends and family.
CANCER: Are you in a partnership related to work? Relying on someone else to help you through a project, either financially or in terms of other resources? These sorts of relationships, and the resources and activities of others with whom you’re working, may force you to react in a more aggressive manner this month. That can be a good thing if the aggression is directed at the right target. If the result is positive change, don’t just vent on someone or take aggressive action against someone for the rush that can provide. If you want to make the projects you’re working on with these partners a success, you can’t deny or ignore the challenge to work together effectively, yet protect your own interests. There’s no denying the pressures of being and working on something on your own, but still being dependent on others or the resources of others—that contradictory setup can certainly be frustrating. Things seem to be slow because of crisis related to being so dependent on someone else, but you’ll get through it.
LEO: Serving others can be a challenge this month, Leo, even if it’s inevitable or even desirable to be in that position. Some of your service to others is going to bring unexpected reactions, so be prepared for that—and make sure your response is productive. With this warning about the potential for change, you shouldn’t be caught off guard, right? This can also be a month when the work or projects you do get involved in will teach you a great deal—and that’s always good—but you may find that your projects are going to cost more then you may have planned. The solution? Watch your expenses and save as much as you can, wherever it’s possible to pinch some pennies. For artists, this New Moon can manifest itself through big changes in your work, so be open to change and ready to take on the challenges that change inevitably brings.
VIRGO: You can’t hang back in the shadows anymore, Virgo. Ambition and your future are on the line this month, so you’ll have to reach out and literally put yourself “out there” if you want to make a difference. Be prepared for projects that require you do your work in pieces or stages—which you’ll find is a good thing because in so doing you give yourself a little rest between those stages, and you’ll also get to start the next stage with a fresh perspective. It’s time to be clever and wily and think smart, which you’re more than capable of! When it comes to getting work done, you may find that evening hours are the most inspirational time of day, so make the most of those hours. Maybe the between-stages rest you’ll get from your segmented project will give you the energy to stay up late!
LIBRA: As usual, Libra, it’s all about balance and the strong footing you need to achieve balance and be successful. This New Moon sees you setting up goals for the future, and working toward building strong foundations. Time spent on developing your support system is also well-spent this month, so take the time to think about what you need in terms of support—either financially or personally, or both—and work toward strengthening those sources of money, energy, inspiration, whatever it is you need behind and beneath you to be successful. Group endeavors could be highlighted, and maybe you’ll be more productive in a group setting right now. There is a need to guard your privacy; however, not everything is as bad as you think it is, so keep an open mind and a positive outlook. When it comes to your artwork, complexity is key—intricate layers or intrigues in your work itself can be very rewarding, so don’t shy away from something that seems too complex.
SCORPIO: Whether during REM sleep or as you’re daydreaming at your desk, your dreams hold your inspiration right now. It’s those moments when the mind drifts off that can bring you many gifts of a creative nature, so be open to them and don’t be too quick to say no to a nap. If you feel yourself drifting into a dreamy state at work, don’t fight it—let yourself go and explore wherever your mind takes you. When it comes to your artwork, ethnic and spiritual themes can be rewarding, but it is also likely that you are very sensitive overall this month, leaving you even more open than usual to dreams and perception. There could be some real moments of true inspiration when it comes to your work this month, and if you’re tuning into your dreams, you’ll be ready to make the most of them.
SAGITTARIUS: This month finds you being bold and open, Sagittarius, and your work will reflect this, big time. Design in general can be rewarding, but it will also be working alone or doing things more on your own that makes you feel most productive and alive. Even with this strength from independence, don’t avoid your partners. There may be times when that is what you’re tempted to do—and maybe you’ll do it—but be on the lookout for that tendency on your part and think carefully about the consequences. Another interesting twist? When you need your partner, you won’t be able to find them, so keep tabs on everyone and be ready to go it alone if you can’t nail down that someone you need to help out!
CAPRICORN: It may seem like a long time coming, but this is a month when you can be rewarded, Capricorn, and your rewards may be financial. There is a great deal of focus on worth and ethics, on how much something is valued. Don’t be cheap or cut corners, and don’t ignore responsibilities. Other forms your rewards might come in? Maybe the way you’re valued as an artist is an issue, and maybe you’ll finally be acknowledged as the gifted artists you are. There can be much good fortune and expansion right now, so take heart and don’t let the fears that may have dominated you keep you from making the most of this time. Many things will be changing and transforming for you, and you’ll see these changes and transformations taking shape in the next couple of years.
AQUARIUS: There have been many changes and turning points for you and your craft, Aquarius, and now is the time to work on how you are going to communicate these changes to others. Sometimes when we’re going through changes or have chosen a new fork in the road, the people we work or live with aren’t ready for it or don’t understand—be ready for that and think before you speak. It won’t always be clear where all of this is taking you, but artistically, this can be a very inspiring time, even with all the questions you’re hearing in your own head and from others around you. You’re soon going to make some good contacts and connections for yourself, and good communications is key to making the most of them.
PISCES: There are so many decisions and so many endings to clear away for you this month, Pisces. This is a time to heal and maybe spend more time at home, surrounded by comforting things and supportive people. You have been working so hard and at times it feels like you’re spending long periods of time either away literally or being away mentally. While that’s OK, don’t lose track of yourself or where you are. So many things are unpredictable, but you’ll weather the changes just fine. Computer work or graphics could play a special role this month, so be open to that sort of solution to a design challenge, even if that’s not your typical approach.
