ARIES: Now is the time, Aries. It’s all culminating right now, and the signs are clear in terms of what you can achieve at this moment. How do you see the signs? Sweep out all the clutter! It is time to clean things up, from tidying your studio space to getting your bills in order. On the design front, your designs for various projects may be getting out of control, and that’s a sure way to make certain none of them ever see the light of completion. You might encounter boundaries along the way when working with others. Working with others, however, can be more productive so don’t avoid collaboration just to avoid potential problems. There’s a project that has you very excited right now, and with good reason—go with your gut feeling of excitement and put your energy into the project.
TAURUS: Would the words “problem solved” sound great right about now? Solutions and implementing them might cause some friction or frustration right now, as things just seem meant to be, which can leave you feeling a little helpless if how they’re turning out isn’t what you’d hoped. Focus on your work, dear Taurus, and know that working with metals can be fun right now, and maybe making some jewelry would be both fun and profitable. Faces, or working with faces, can also be very rewarding right now, so whether it’s a portrait you’re doing, making masks, or maybe a face has inspired your work in some other way, don’t ignore those eyes, those lips, that face! You might also notice unusual solutions presenting themselves to both life and art-related problems—if you can separate the two, that is! Take care of your health right now and make sure you are eating right. Don’t let all the frustration and solution-seeking keep you from eating lots of healthy food and taking good care of yourself.
GEMINI: Hey, Gemini, the New Moon in March will give you the opportunity to explore the world behind the scenes. You may find that this position is more effective right now—taking a supportive or silent-partner-like role in a project or simply staying out of the limelight—because it helps you focus. When it comes to work, it may be that a long-term project has your attention right now, and that’s just fine if you keep an eye on details. Details can be very important, as well as being aware of mistakes that can affect your credibility. Remember, even when you’re in the background, if they’re your mistakes, people will notice! For sources of artistic inspiration, look to quiet places and also pay attention to your dreams. The solitude of quiet locales and the hidden information revealed in your dreams can help you in a current project or perhaps inspire a new one.
CANCER: Like Gemini, who is warned about risking mistakes that could put credibility in jeopardy, your reputation could also be on the line during this time. Others could be looking up to you, so that’s even more reason to step lightly and carefully and pay attention to details. Given that things feel as though they are going very slowly these days, don’t let any frustration that feeling causes make you skip over important steps or take any risky shortcuts. Projects could be taking longer then you anticipated, but don’t come on like gangbusters in an attempt to speed things up. Be aware that coming on too strong can leave you own your own, as can depending on the wrong people. Does this all sound ominous? Don’t let it worry you – you’ve got the tools to get the job done— with care—and now you’ve got the insights as to where problems can arise. If you heed this advice, you’ll go around them and be just fine.
LEO: During this New Moon, you may find that those who work for you or under you will react in ways that you were not able to predict. Be prepared, and don’t go crazy if this happens. Something else that can go unexpectedly is the cost of your newest projects. Did you explore all the possible costs and requirements before you got started? If yes, the surprises may not be too jarring, but if you didn’t do a lot of preparatory research, you may be in for quite a jolt. What to do? It may not be too late to review potential costs, so you’re not caught off-guard. If you’re well into the project, just beware of costs that could pop up, and perhaps be a little more frugal in your spending so that you’re able to cover things. Your project-related expenses in particular might need to be evaluated carefully, because the project overall is costing you more then you anticipated and you’ll have to figure out how to make it worth your while.
VIRGO: Ah, Virgo. Starry skies, the black of night, the quiet of the wee hours. Yes, nighttime can be your most productive time right now, and you should take advantage of this whenever you can. If you’re feeling strapped or confined, know that the heavy restrictions and burdens you carry right now can also teach you a new level of discipline, and that’s something good that can come from anything negative you’re dealing with. Being at home or working out of the home can be better for you right now, or it may be that you need to take come time off to withdraw from public and take time for yourself and your favorite projects. The freedom of solitude—perhaps combined with working at night when the world is more quiet—could be your ticket to successful completion of a project and a useful analysis of all you’re going through.
LIBRA: This is a great month to express yourself through your art, Libra. That may sound like an obvious statement for an artist, but not all artists thoroughly or freely express themselves through their art—consistently that is. If this sounds like you, take advantage of this time to really let yourself be visible in your work. Express yourself with abandon and let the inspiration flow. This can be a very inspiring time, and you have the enthusiasm and excitement to see any projects you begin through. Again, take advantage of this opportunity, and let it enhance your work and your experience. One warning, though: be careful that your excitement doesn’t cause you to over-complicate a project. Too much enthusiasm could cause you to layer your project and make it more complex, which can cause problems that are not easily resolved.
SCORPIO: Does “back to the drawing board” ring any bells, Scorpio? If not, this saying might take on new meaning during the New Moon, as new beginnings may have to be done over more than once. Don’t worry, though, it will be worth it as you seem to be so totally involved in your creative projects this month. You’ll enjoy the work and won’t mind the restarts. Starting over can also be illuminating, because you get to see what went wrong and why, and you can avoid the same problems in the future. When it comes to new projects, be open to learning. A new project can teach you a lot, and you should look for a connection to the media or something spiritual in your work or perhaps as the source of inspiration as the project gets off the ground.
SAGITTARIUS: Hey, Sagittarius. Feeling like you’re working a lot and not getting much enjoyment out of it? Much of what you get involved in right now might feel like work, but new designs can be helpful and inspiring. Houses or buildings in particular can be inspirational, so keep your eye out for ways to integrate these things into your work. Part of everything feeling like work could also be caused by the fact that you may feel very alone in a group or an association. It’s hard when you feel loneliest in the presence of others, but you’ll get through it. You may feel like people are trying to hunt you down, but it may also be that you are avoiding others. Animals can be very grounding right now, whether they are your pets or your latest artistic inspiration. So go hug your dog or pet the cat and look for animals in your path to inspire you or serve as soothing subjects for your next project.
CAPRICORN: Capricorn, this New Moon finds you drawn to heavy subjects, perhaps because things are beginning to change for you. It may be through others that you can gain a clearer perspective on what you are doing or working on, so don’t avoid other people or spend too much time on your own. Also, your just rewards will come through others, maybe partners or close associates, in particular. Beware that “just rewards” are not always positive—are you due for a comeuppance? They can also be very positive, so perhaps the delights you so richly deserve are coming your way; it all depends on what you've put out there and what’s about to come back. The physical body and body language in particular will come to your attention, so look for ways to integrate this into your work, if possible. Things are really expanding and you are very optimistic – draw on that positive energy to make the most of everything that happens.
AQUARIUS: Changes that have been going on in your life, Aquarius, have made you realize that you need to make some changes in your work and how you express yourself. Think about how things that are going on in your life, or that recently happened in your life, could be expressed or mirrored in your work. During this New Moon, your thinking is inspired and your eye for unique art or computer art is very strong—don’t ignore this, even if the things you find inspiring are not what typically excites you. Your thinking and your way of expressing yourself is totally in synch right now, so go for it—let your mind and your art align and see what great things come of it. It is a great time to use your imagination and let it take you where it will. Keep an open mind and enjoy the open road.
PISCES: Pisces, it’s important that you don’t let your own pride stand in your way right now. This New Moon can be a great time of recognition, and recognition is what you’re currently craving. Sudden changes, however, or your need for freedom can get carried away, and you need to be aware of this. The recognition you’ll receive is good, but things have a tendency to go awry if you don’t exert some control—over yourself and the situations in which you find yourself. It’s as if you are addicted to shocking others right now and this will not always work in your favor. Keep a lid on your desire to make a huge splash, because not everyone wants to get wet.
